Oh! Flora's Dare: How a Girl of Spirit Gambles All to Expand Her Vocabulary, Confront a Bouncing Boy Terror, and Try to Save Califa from a Shaky Doom (Despite Being Confined to Her Room) by Ysabeau S. Wilce won the Andre Norton Award for Young Adult Science Fiction and Fantasy!(Wow, that was a mouthful!) I've been meaning to check out that series...and potentially buy it for a friend who's named Flora.

Thanks for sharing these winners! The only one I've read is Flora's Dare, etc., but I did see WALL-E. Oh, and I love the skateboard haiku contest--nice juxtaposition!
