Attention Visual Artists

This looks like a cool event. If you are in or around the Vancouver area, you may want to check it out.

CARFAC BC Presents:

Marketing for Visual Artists with Chris Tyrell

Thursday, May 21st, 6:30 pm
Alliance for Arts and Culture

Artists must develop their small business skills if they wish to earn a living from a visual arts practice. Chris, the author of “Artist Survival Skills: How to Make a Living as a Canadian Visual Artist,” makes the implementation of some basic business practices comprehensible and gives attendees an enthusiasm for some of the practical skills that can very effectively build a visual arts practice. Chris understands the artistic personality; he knows business building techniques that are well suited to the artistic temperament. Past participants are gratified by his presentations.
